Serious book about a very scary group of people. This author has done a fine job as he describes a series of cases. He knows all about this kind of sick, evil personalities and by the end of the book one can not help but to admit they got their fill. Yes, for those who seem to get a kick from the True Crime genre, this book delivers in spades. I was very impressed by the quality of the writing and the depth of the stories. This is a rare book of a genre that for the most produces very few worthwhile material. One thing is to write about a crime in an average sort of way and a very different thing is to write with and incisive well informed approach. The writing, the knowledge and the pace of the book all warrant, at least to me, 4.5 Stars. Surely to satisfy beyond expectations those who can not get enough of these kind of genre. Good writing, good stories, fast paced and interesting to follow all the way to the end. 4.5 Stars.

I found this book very unique and informative although he includes some cases that he wasn't actually involved with. He added interesting perspective to those as well but I found the cases he actually had personal experience with much more interesting. The author is not only a forensic psychiatrist but he also has a Law Degree so there is a fascinating emphasis on court laws and how some of them make no sense and should be corrected.
