This is one of my favorite SF romances. The hero and heroine are both admirable people. Both the romance and the SF story are well written and reinforce each other. A good read!
Futuristic romance by Patricia Waddell. Reuel is the Governor of the Planet, and he needs to take a wife, and have a son for the future of the Alliance. For reasons of his own, he blackmails beautiful, outspoken human rebel Krista into being his wife. Krista wants equality for Earthlings, who are looked down upon, as being inferior, emotional and irrational. Krista challenges Reuel, his culture and beliefs at every turn. Reuel expects obedience and compliance from his unpredictable, unruly wife. Can two different people find peace for themselves, and their races? I enjoyed this book. The plot is good, the sex scenes are steamy, and its well written.
