All the books in this series are terrific and I would strongly recommend them to anyone liking a lady detective who is only slightly hard-boiled.

Kat Colorado, a no-nonsense Sacramento California P.I. investigates a suspicious hit and run death. Courtney, the victim, was a young woman who deserted the Mormon faith and was trying to find her way in the world. The deeper Kat digs into Courtney's life, the more suspects she finds. Sweet natured Courtney had many enemies and they all wanted her dead! This ia a fast pace mystery with likeable characters and a touch of humor.
