I picked this book up at a thrift store when I was barely a teen, and the rest is history. But seriously, it remains to this day one of my favorite bizarre compilations, and I wish there were more like it. I reread it every few years just for the nostalgia of growing up with this and Blue Velvet to light the way into the darkness of sexuality I knew was just below the surface out there. This isn't a dark anthology, it is sci-fi, but it's weird, and I love it.
This collection of stories by many of the modern masters of SF is "startling, provocative, outrageous and funny." 19 tales of SF and dark fantasy. Fun!
Not only tales of sex WITH aliens, but tales of alien sex, that it, 'alien' in its clearest meaning---other . . . strange . . . outre.
19 tales---authors include Harlan Elison, Pat Murphy, Larry Niven, Lewis Shiner, Philip Jose Farmer, Pat Cadigan, Connie Willis, Edward kBryant, Rick Wilber, Lisa Tuttle, Geoff Ryman, Roberta Lannes, Michaela Roessner, K.W. Jeter, Richard Christian Matheson, Leigh Kennedt, Scott Baker, Bruce McAlister and James Tiptree,Jr.
Some light, but several dark and fearsome tales---

these are just some really neat short stories , they are about things like sex by telepathy, making it with superman and pick up scenes on other planets. I really enjoyed it.
it's ok, not my kinda book.
