I got this book mainly because it blended both mystery and scifi, I have a limited liking of scifi, mainly star trek, jd robb in death series, and an very few asminov.
I didn't even read it that fast after getting it. but when I did I read thru it fast,
I enjoyed the short stories so much that I started searching for more by a few authors that I have not read before. ~and the search continues. even tho none of the stories fully fit into what I usually like in sci fi I found I really enjopyed them staying up
late to finish a few, hoxcomb was a surprize in that I really enjoyed it and wished it was a longer story.
so if you are looking for a taste of either sci fi or mystery or even fantasy give it a try. you can always skip a story going to the next one~but hey it's a short story, how long can that take?
