I wanted to like this book--I really did. And I did "like" it but I didn't love it the way I generally do anything by Deborah Smith. I think I expected more from it because it is a Deborah Smith book.
It's lacking the depth of her other books. It was a fun read and a delightful little fantasy but it's not a keeper for me like her other stuff.

Very cute story of a girl who is a mermaid but living as a human with Southern flair. No tails, but white skin, hold breath, sing in heads sort of mermaid.
a must read for mistical reading!
I really thought this book was a fun read. My first time reading this author but would live to have the book continued in a series. I enjoyed the fantasy....
