Splish, splash, Splosh! Alfie loves marching through puddles so much, he's worn out his old brown shoes. When Mom buys him a new pair of shiny yellow boots, Alfie proudly puts them on all by himself. Only later, while he's playing in the park, does he notice they feel "funny." Young children will delight in discovering with Alfie what the trouble is and learning how he solves it.
