A very interesting book with a unique writing style and a lot of wisdom. It's fascinating how reading something you already know in different words can make it have a much more profound effect on you.

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho is a fable a story of the young shepherd Santiago who learns the valuable lesson of pursuing one's dream in the face of obstacles; and the even more valuable lesson of being present in every moment of the process it takes to get there. It is a simply told story with a lot of absorb. It spoke to my heart. Worth reading and re-reading.

His quest will lead him to riches far differentâand far more satisfyingâthan he ever imagined. Santiago's journey teaches us about the essential wisdom of listening to our hearts, of recognizing opportunity and learning to read the omens strewn along life's path, and, most importantly, to follow our dreams. I enjoyed listening to the audio of this book. The story had a lot of wisdom and was very inspirational. Recommended for those who like inspirational books.
