This is an amusing little read about some of the famous people from history and their medical problems. I have no idea how they got the information as some of it sounds so ludicrous I can't imagine anyone letting themselves be "treated" that way. I don't want to give anything away, so suffice it to say that the methods of treating the ill usually caused more harm than good, and after awhile, you wonder why it continued as long as it did. Interesting, but not amazing.

A fun read, although most of the cases seemed more like "an alarming history of bad doctors" than stories of bad patients. Or at least a mixture of both.

A compilation of amusing anecdotes about notable people, their medical travails and treatments throughout history. Easy to read.
