7th book in the Esmay Suiza series.
Esmay is dismissed from the fleet...You need to read it to see what happens next.

Continues the story of Esmay Suiza. Military basis. Good story.

This book is awesome! If you like fast-paced quick reads where the female lead triumphs despite terible odds, this is for you. A SCIFI fan would love this for the tech aspect, but the casual reader would for the good vs. evil. You cannot go wrong with this one.

I've really enjoyed all of Elizabeth Moon's books; she has a real talent for sci-fi. This book, her latest entry in the Serrano family's adventures in a future, space-borne military is a worthy addition to her work. Here, she ties a lot of continuing stories together into a satisfying conclusion that could be, though I hope not, the ending of this particular franchise. Moon's Serrano Legacy series compares favorably with David Weber's Honor Harrington series, though I might give the edge to Weber for sheer brilliance.
I defy you to read the last few pages of Against the Odds without shedding a tear. I just sent this book on to a new reader, but not without re-reading those few pages. And yes, I shed another tear or two!

Continuation of CHANGE OF COMMAND. The same book is also titled MARQUE AND REPRISAL, depending whether it was printed in Great Britain or in the US.
