I had this book from an Autobiography and Journal Writing class from college. I wouldn't have normally picked up this book with the intentions to read it, but I did find it very interesting (even though most of the book took place before my awareness of TV and such). I gave it an "8", but someone might think it is better than that.
This book is a good account of Mary Tyler Moore's life in marriages, TV shows, her diabetes, people she knew, etc. It is chronological, so it is an easier read.

What a wonderful book. A tribute to MTM,s life, and how she overcame such lack of self esteem, and carried on with every job she undertook. I always admired her, but now I think she is one of the bravest women I have ever known or read about. I was going through a personal loss, and needed a good cry. She did not fail to deliver. GinaK

I found this a great book. I have always admired MTM so much. Her life has been far from easy. She has battled addiction, divorce, tragic death of loved ones, diabetes, poor self esteem and more. I started the book and couldn't put it done.. finished in a day.
