This is a very interesting analysis of the process of historical writing. It shows how those who write history, like the rest of us, are influenced by their own experience and perspective, and the impact that influence may have on the "hard facts." I found it very interesting and a helpful tool to better understand the limits of all we are told is true.

The 'detective' work on some subjects was done well, on others not so well. I felt that on some subjects the authors were simply stating their own views.
