The author gives us another complicated murder mystery with a missing body. What makes it interesting is that Jack Haldean keeps solving it over and over. I won't explain that here as it would give too much away.
One thing I found interesting about this story, which was published in 2014, is the constant reference to cigarettes. Of course, today most people don't smoke, unlike during the 1920s when the story takes place. However, the author seems to make a big deal about people constantly offering each other tobacco. Did they do that back then, or is that just filler?
