The book is misleading in its classification, because "true crime" implies elements of suspense and some idea of the mind of the criminal being explored. I feel this book fits better under "courtroom procedure" or something, because it was not in the least "suspenseful" and did not fit the genre of being a "mystery" in any sense of the word. Not what I expected, not well written (even typos and grammatical errors...are there no more proofreaders?). All in all, I don't have any interest in re-reading, or keeping, this book.

While an interesting read, the author summed up the couple's lives and marriage in the first few chapters and the rest of the book was devoted to the trial. I am more interested in the forensic psychology of true crime and less interested in the legal aspect, so this book wasn't for me.
