One of the few textbooks I bothered to keep after college. It's that good.

Tactic the authors use is to personally insult the people whose lifestyles they disagree with. They are also in love with the cutsie names that they invent, like "affluenza" and "dot-communism", they use them over and over. Maybe a good solution may be to skip directly to the "Treatment" section.
Interesting and well worth the read. It's also one of those books where you can read a chapter (they are short), put it down and read another chapter the next day ... it gives you a chance to absorb what you've read.
This book is phenomenal. It is a true eye opener into the far reachig costs of what we buy, how much we own and even what we eat. It must be read, it will change your habits.
