This was a good book but at times it lost my attention and it took me a week to finish when I usually finish books within 2 days.

This was a wonderful story of the miracle of true and selfless love in the midst of nearly impossible circumstances. It's all about never giving up and trusting God and being faithful to a calling that is overwhelming. I love the characters and Catherine Palmer truly brings them to life, endearing them to my heart and soul. I love stories about never giving up and this is truly one! Be ready to become fully involved in the early 1800's era and a story of true love and healing.

I'm not a fan of regency and this didn't change my feelings on it. I found a bit boring and not very interesting enough for me.The story plot wasn't very realistic but, the book over all was well written and very detailed. I'm hoping the other two books in this series will be a little bit better.
