This gem has been waiting years for me to pick it up. Loved it reminiscent of Dorothy Sayers, Wodehouse, Christie and others. Good English country house murder with plenty of suspects and unassuming detective. Enjoyed the characters and the prose. Anyone who wants an old fashion who done it. This book is for you.

This novel is suppose to be a parody of mysteries and hit the mark. It was enjoyable, fun and a good mystery to boot. It's one of three by the author and I already have one of the other two on its way to me.
