Inaccurate but none the less page-turning novel of the scandal that forever tainted Marie Antoinette during the lead up to the revolution. A quick read, and enjoyable historical fiction.

If you are a Marie Antoinette fan you will like this book. The story is based on real people and events and implies that one woman was able to bring about the beginning of the revolution. I enjoyed reading it and was interested in learning more about this part of history after having read this fictional account.

Tells about the opposite side of the story that led to the demise of Queen Marie Antoinette....the lady behind the story of the "Affair of the Necklace". Very good, and going to try and find the movie next time i'm at Best Buy.
