Good, a page turner-but a little weird.
This is a twisty, thought-provoking book dealing with perceptions of reality, quantum physics, and pseudonyms, all sprinkled amongst a plot involving a cruise ship mystery. It's very different, not exactly a thriller or mystery, but more of a speculative SF novel light on the SF. If you enjoy books like The Strange Adventures of Rangergirl, Bearing an Hourglass, or The Dark Half, you might like this one, since it's an odd mixture of themes common in each of those books.
