A good cozy with a couple of old nuns as the protagonists. There's some humor and some suspense, but not scary, as it is a cozy. A fun read.

I really enjoy this series, the methods of investigation by Sister Mary Helen, getting the other nuns to help. She puts alot of thought and prayer into her deductions. Always willing to help the police even if they wish she would stay out of their investigation.

Published 1986. Another murder mystery for Sister Mary Helen. In this one she must figure out the murder of her efficient, very quiet, and totally surprising secretary.
A quick enjoyable read! Glad to have found this author and plan to read more by her in the future!
Sister Mary Helen and her "sidekick," Sister Eileen are both in their 70s (as is the author of this series) and "retired" to light duties in their San Francisco convent. Did they take up helping their police buddy Kate solve murders to fill in the time? No matter. This is a corker of a series.
cute story for a murder mystery.

My first time reading anything by Sister Carol Anne O'Marie and I enjoyed this book, part of "Sister Mary Helen Mystery" series. Character development was great. Thought the story jumped a little; would have preferred some smoother transitions in some spots. All-in-all, I will read more from this series, as I enjoyed the characters.
Like the whole series. Read all but can't find an early one.
Second of the series.
