Pendulums tap into the minor movements of the hand which are controlled by the subconscious mind, making this technique a direct link to the subconscious and a very impressive tool to share with your clients.

Chapter 3: Post hypnotic suggestions Post-hypnotic suggestions are phrases spoken to a client while they are in hypnosis. These suggestions take effect after (post) the hypnosis session.

Chapter 4: Metaphors Milton Erickson, MD, was perhaps the most brilliant mind ever to grace the hypnotherapeutic landscape. With seemingly simple stories (metaphors) he would cause a client to change behaviors. However, since he was simply telling a "story," the client would not necessarily be aware of the changes being programmed into his/her subconscious mind. Mastering the proper use of metaphors can distinguish you as a master hypnotherapist.

Chapter 5: Analogue marking Imagine having the ability to weave commands into a sentence and have your client obey them. Well, that is what hypnotherapy basically is, right? Now imagine having the ability to do this whether they are in hypnosis or not. THAT goes BEYOND hypnotherapy and into the realms of true mastery of an art. Use of analogue marking is one more item which distinguishes the "men from the boys" in the world of hypnosis. Learn how to command a client to lose weight, stop smoking, etc. while simply talking with them and NOT using hypnosis. This technique even works on the phone!

Chapter 6: Phobias Helping people overcome phobias is a powerful tool to have in your toolbox of hypnotherapy techniques. After completing this hypnotherapy certification training module, you will be able to work with the following phobias (just to name a few): Fear of flying, fear of roaches, fear of needles, fear of dental procedures, fear of public speaking, fear of driving on highways and freeways, fear of snakes, fear of dogs, fear of spiders, fear of heights, fear of success, fear of failure, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
