I love the story of reincarnation, though I thought the writing could be better. I didnt like the characters much, but learned alittle about Peter Paul Rubens , Art History etc.

Deford has come up with a fast-moving thriller involving two supposed reincarnations of a man and a woman who once modeled for the Flemish painter extraordinaire, Rubens, one of whom is revealed to have had a penchant for erotic murders. The psychoanalyst who discovers this through regression hypnosis becomes inextricably involved and endangered. Reader's will become caught up in the quest for the truth so quickly that it will be almost like watching a film inevitably unfold to its climax.
WARNING: If you're a devotee of Ruben's paintings, you probably shouldn't read this book because you won't ever see some of them in the same way again.

Interesting story of reincarnation/past loves. Supposedly, lovers from centuries ago recognize their former selves (as models) for art gallery paintings.
Some characters not all that likable, and I'm not a fan of this type fiction (reincarnation, science fiction, the paranormal, etc.) but this was a fast moving, fairly enjoyable tale.
