What a cute book! This is the third book in the Wedding Veil Wishes series and each one seems to get better to me. I enjoyed all the characters--each had their own flaws and it made them more likable. I read it quickly and liked that it says romance is nice, but love is better...

It's a cute story, but the author's voice didn't really work with it. The telling felt flat, while the story itself would have been wonderful had it been laced with little jabs of humorous understatement. It just didn't do it for me.

This was a another great read in Lori Wilde's Wedding Veil Wishes series. The characters were very well written.
Rachael wanted nothing to do with love after being jilted at the altar twice. When she is caught defacing her hometown's billboard sign by sexy Sheriff Brody, she is arrested and vows to never believe in romance again.
Brody is intrigued by Rachael from the start, she has grown up a lot from the little girl who followed him around when they were kids. Brody doesn't want to believe in love either after being cheated on by his first wife and then losing his leg in the Iraq war. Rachael is the one person who makes him feel whole again.
The story also includes an two secondary stories. Rachael's parents who after 27 years have decided to divorce. And also the town of Valentine's mayor and his opponant in the mayorial race.
Very well written. Even if you have not read the other two previous books in the series you can still get into this one. Definitely worth a credit!
