Richard is a well known actor. He is also known for his temper. After his latest blowup, his agent and theater director conspired for him and Lainie to have a fake relationship to improve his image. Lainie is well liked and newly single. They are all starring together in a play (with Lainie's ex- who cheated on her) in the West End (London). They hope Lainie will help improve his image.
I was curious about Richard and what his excuse was for being an asshole. There is a reason and Lainie breaks through those barriers. He and Lainie are about to talk and share. I liked the back-drop (actors, theater). There is something that happens and they do work through it (after a cooling off period).

This romance was a little different for me, as I had not read any stories connected to the London theater before. Lainie and Troy really, really didn't like each other, but are put together as a publicity stunt, to temper Troy's reputation. He is a great actor, but appears to not be a very nice person. Lainie is a good actress, as well as having a reputation as a nice person. This really was a slow burn hate to like to love story. Very enjoyable.
