US military analyst searches for a stolen Russian submarine. A realistic spy thriller with a couple unexpected twists in the plot. Very well written and hard to put down once you start reading.

This is the first book I have read by this Author. It is a good, fast paced story and did keep me interrested to the end. The hero or main character is a tad bit unbelievable, with a couple of guys like him we wouldn't need the CIA or FBI or maybe even James Bond. LOL

Third book in the Bill Lane series. The best one so far.

Perfect summer read ... a page turner that moves along like a Clive Cussler. Great plot, characters, action without enough detail on military hardware for realism, but not so much that it gets tedious. One of the best thrillers I've read.

A fast-moving military/intelligence thriller with a more-than-capable hero. Think Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt. And he has a Russian counterpart with a taste for some personal and vicious revenge.

From back cover: U.S. military intelligence analyst Bill Lane is on the trail of a Romeo-class Russian sub. The sub was supposed to be harmlessly scuttled at a submarine graveyard, and the mastermind behind its theft, an ex-KGB agent named Valeri Yernin, was supposed to be dead. But Bill Lane will have to prepare himself for one more surprise when he finally tracks down his target--because his opponent will be devastatingly ready for him
