Great story! A pool hustler gets taken by the new girl in the area (she gets him drunk and takes him for a 1000 dollars for her grandfather's wheelchair)and then she finds out he's her absent boss.

One of the three books in the series about three brothers running the family ranch. The romance is charming rather than contrived.
