A good follow up to Lake News. Allows you to get to know some of the characters better and introduces some interesting new ones.

An excellent book about a woman who is in a wheelchair and a friend dead due to an accident 12 year earlier. A friend of hers ismurder. Is it accused of a murder that happened 14 years ago in California. Is it a case of mistaken identity or does her friend have a secret past? In trying to find out the truth Poppy Blake must dig into her own past to either continue to blame herself or forgive herself. Can she find peace, love and happiness or is she doomed to always be the Accidental Woman?

This is the first novel I've listened to by Barbara Delinsky and I adored it! Part mystery, part love story, partly a glimpse into what life is like for a woman with a physical disability. Just long enough, just suspenseful enough and with an ending that warms your heart.
