This was a good book! It had surprises in it that I did not anticipate - that always makes for a good book:) It was an easy read - great for a winter night infront of the fire or a beach read in the summer.

This was an engrossing and beautifully-written novel, even better than her first novel "A Blessed Event". In the aftermath of an accident which kills the narrator's husband, she becomes unexpectedly connected with her husband's ex-wife and child. Interesting twists and turns; altogether satisfying.

Finished this up last night and thought it was pretty good. Took a twist that surprised me at the end. Good easy read.

This was a great book that pulled me in emotionally almost from the beginning. The entire situation between the two women and the young girl could have evolved in many different ways, and the ultimate one was nice.
