The movie followed the book about half way before taking a sharp detour. I can't tell you which version was the best, you will just have to decide that for yourself. I did enjoy both the book and the movie that was adapted from it. They both show the importance that should be placed on the old adage "There is no one that is above the law". Of course we all know that statement is rarely true, at least as far as man's laws are concerned.
This book on tape made for some easy driving. The three hours of playback time was just right for a 90 minute drive there and back and with only two cassettes I never had to pull over to look for the right one.
