SUPERB SUPERB SUPERB! What more can I say. I ABSOLUTLEY Love this book. I love the fact that Denise lets us see her as a regular person. She is down to earth and just as normal as you and me. A Christian woman. A Real Christian woman! And as southern as Fried Chicken.
LOVE THIS!
Thank you for giving me the want to find Jesus again. THANK YOU!

"It's All About Him: Finding the Love of My Life" is really enlightening and a fast read. Reading the title you may think it is all about Alan but it's not. It's about God. Denise did a great job of opening up her life to the reader, and her walk with the Lord.

I picked this book out from a bargain shelf and noticed first off, that the CD was missing(so I can't post it). But I figured what the heck, I'm a big Alan Jackson fan, have seen him in concert and I wanted to know more from his wife's point of view. Well, first, let me say, having been a big Jackson fan, I didn't know what everyone else knew, because I seldom read the trash magazines.
I had no idea they had ever split up for a time, or why. I was actually upset when I read about this. But I had to keep going. Denise is beautiful and I found it hard to digest how much she worried about what other people thought. Their split caused her to dive deep into matters of faith and a personal relationship with God. I
didn't find Denise sharing her faith distasteful as I have with some other books. Maybe it's because I'm such a fan and also because I mostly believe everything she does. But if that kind of thing turns you off, consider yourself forewarned. The book was a fairly quick read and overall, I do recommend it!

Easy read - I read it in about a day off and on. Nothing eye-opening but it was a good and steady read.

great book i loved reading this
If you pick up this book thinking that you'll find Denise Jackson talking about a 'token' relationship with Jesus, you will be disappointed. Denise Jackson's relationship with God is at the very core of her being. A fact that was driven home when she got 'too busy' with her marriage and kids and let her relationship with God suffer. On the verge of divorce with Alan, she threw herself into her relationship with God and placed her future back in his hands and that is when everything came together. Denise and Alan Jackson were then able to rebuild their marriage and do what very few people do after a long separation - they came back together and made their marriage stronger. Denise includes many of the resources - Bible passages and books - that she uses in her daily life in order to help others improve, or begin, a relationship with God.

I am a huge Alan Jackson fan, but I found this book a little fluffy. Denise really didn't share anything that hasn't been in every magazine since their separation. But it did get her her own 15 minutes of fame.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I have enjoyed Alan Jackson's music for years and learning of his and his wife's faith and their commitment to making their marriage work was very good and very uplifting.

A much better book than it appears to be. Love it. Very insightful.

I was a little disappointed. I thought it would be more about her faith. But after reading it, I noticed it's more about her relationship and marriage with Alan Jackson. Don't get me wrong, it's always fun to hear people's stories, especially when they have grown stronger through the tough times. But I was disappointed not to see more about God and what HE has done in Denise Jackson's life. Maybe it's just me...
