Monique extends herself to learn English, becomes a language teacher in the American school system. Monique and her husband eventually build a successful travel agency for European countries. Monique takes her 5 children abroad and shows them her her roots in France, and that of her ancestors in Italy. A very colorful, descriptive writing.
