Gripping mystery. Starts out solid with an intriguing premise and a great atmosphere and steadily builds in both tension and action. I am just pages away from finishing right now and I am putting off finishing because I don't want it to end!
....although I do have to admit to some bias as another Colorado front range resident. It is interesting to hear someone else describe my home state.
Well worth the wait for this one!

This was one of the most exciting books I've read in a long time. The story switches in time between the events of 1893 and 2009 - equally horrifying and gripping - definitely interrelated.. The characters are well drawn; the location/weather is an equal partner in the tale. I defy you to put this book down for long. It will haunt you and call you back until you've gotten to the very end. Wow! Enjoy.

If this book were a movie I'd rate the language "R". The story line is interesting but the language got too rough for my 76 year old eyes.
