I'd have to add Dave McKean. Mixed-media-ish with a tendency towards oranges & reds. Very dark! He did the Sandman covers for Vertigo & produced a Tarot deck. Besides his "red" covers he's also done some neat things in pen-&-ink & digital photography.

Nice grouping of sf/fantasy arts. I really like the "Spectrum" series. Discovered it at World Fantasy Convention. I'd have to add a book of J.K. Potter's weird photos. I suppose that his work would be considered "dark fantasy" or sometimes "horror".
