Some of the characteristics of A.D.D. children are as follows:
-short attention span
-easily distracted
-difficulty concentrating
-fails to finish tasks at home or school
-mood swings
-high pain tolerance
-average intelligence but poor school performance

This book explains A.D.D. in easily understood terms. It also points out the methods of diagnosis and treatment.

I've read a number of books about Attention Deficit Disorder over the years and I still think that this is the hands-down BEST one. Easy to understand and relevant.
