It provided insight in the trail of events and how our government responded. The story line is not so good as it gives briefs from various departments and groups, but to winds its way to an end OK.

If you're interested in what the government has to say about 9/11, this is the definitive answer. It's a bit dry in places - of course, it's a government report! - but it has a wealth of information in there.

Wow, it's so much better getting information when not trying to follow "breaking" news, they gave a detailed and rational account of the hijackers and the hijackings. I was especially interested in the rundown of who died where in the towers, and that really everything was done that could have been done (most people died at or above the floors where the planes hit, most were down or coming down when the 2nd plane hit).

What happened on 9/11,and how? Have we learned any lessons? Are we safe now? The questions every American wants answered. The 9/11 Report covers many topics. Supplemented with analysis and reporting by The New York Times, this edition of the 9/11 Report also makes recommendations as to how to prevent terrorist attacks in the future. This is a new book. I have never read it.
