looking forward to the next but ready for some solutions to carlotta's problems.

I had read the first three but this one just made me angry. This is NOT a complete book. There is no resolution to any of the plot lines. I wish I hadn't wasted my time. Evidently books 4, 5 and 6 and one continued story.

I've read the first three and love this series. This one left almost all of the plot hanging for the next book. Only a minor part of the mystery was solved.... a cheat!
If you're into the series you have to check this out for the continuing story line. Instead of solving any of Carlotta's problems this one added to them.
Stay turned to this channel for the continuing store of Carlotta, Coop, Jack, Peter and Wesley. A bit bummed by this one.

Once again Carlotta gets into trouble just going to work. She is an amazing magnet for trouble. Just misadventures - being the wrong place at the wrong time. And poor Wesley, he might have a genius IQ but he gets into even more trouble than his sister. Loan sharks, computer hacking and now drugs. When will he straighten up his act and become responsible?
This book has three mysteries floating around. 1. the olympic runner whose charm bracelet is stolen while she is at an appearance at Carlotta's work place. 2. The Charmed Killer is a serial killer murdering people one after the other for no apparent reason. 3. Michael Lane - the baddie from a previous book has escaped the psych ward and is after Carlotta...again.
And what the hell is up with Peter? He dumps Carlotta when her father was indicted for embezzlement and now he's back trying to get into her good graces by trying to help clear her father's name. Why do I get a crawling sensation down my back everytime he enters the story? What is it about Peter that sets my radar off? Is it possible Peter framed Carlotta's father?
This book ended very abruptly and really left the story hanging -- rather annoying. Good thing I have #5 on my bookshelf.

Carlotta is still making stupid decisions with the 3 men in her life. Pick one already. I want to know the mystery behind Coop so I'll continue with the next book in the series. They are frustrating but I keep reading them
I am enjoying the series in order. The characters have unique strengths and weaknesses. The story line is not complicated but has some degree of suspense. The romances are complicated but entertaining.
This book was very intertaining and kept me reading long after I should been in bed. I loved her off beat characters and her never ending problems. Looking forward to the next books
