I loved Sex And the City but I just couldn't get through this book.
This is the most worthless thing I have ever read. And I read a lot. I really, really hope no women exist who are anything like the characters in this book. They are horrid throwbacks to the days when women were chattel, obsessed with marriage (to anyone), money (anyone's), and idiocy (their own). Mindless boobs (pun intended).

a great book, four differnt stories about four different blondes
The Janey Wilcox story is the best in this book and if you liked it you should definitely check out the book Trading Up.

Four Blonds written by Cancance Bushnell (Sex in the City author) gives an insier's look at the romantic intrigues, liaisons & btrayals among the elite.
I really hated this book - the plots (there are four separate stories) were horrible and the characters had no redeeming qualities. I kept reading thinking the next section would get better.
I wanted to like this book, but it took 3 times for me start and get into it.
Not one of my favorites. The lives of the four New York women in this book were depressing in their shallowness.

This book is not at all like Candaces other books. The book which is four different stories, can be a little hard to read. It is about NY women who are centered on Money, brands, and men.

Cute, shallow but cute. I loved Sex and the City and this is just like it. It is a gossipy girly book, definately not for men. But I liked it, it was cute.

There are 4 seperate stories in this book. Theres is a model, a columnist a socialite and a writer who are all suddenly 30 and trying to figure out what to do with their lives.
It is a good beach book. There are short chapters if you get distracted while reading you can still figure out who everyone is and what is going on. I enjoyed some stories and characters more than others. If you like Candace Bushnell you should enjoy this book. If you loved the BOOK Sex and the City, you will enjoy this one.

Not as good as Sex and the City.
I really wasn't very bowled over with this book. The characters are so depressing!! Ms. Bushnell intended it to be funny. She needs to re-evaluate her idea of humor.

I could barley finish it. I didn't realize it was four short stories. I don't really like short stories becuase i get to attached to the characters. Maybe thats why i had issues with this book.
Thought it was going to be better but it was kind of boring.
There are four different stories, about four different women. None of the stories go together, so if you don't like a story, you can skip to the next, which is what I did! :)

Bushnell is famous for this sort of sexual brashness, and the book is full of her sharp wit, both in and out of the boudoir. She also clearly enjoys her characters and their misadventures, with one exception: the politically correct Winnie, with her distaste for alcohol, night life, and casual sex, inspires an odd sort of authorial contempt.
