I like this series but sometimes Carlotta Wren gets on my nerves. She's got three men dangling on the hook and IMHO two of the three aren't worthy. So what's the dilemma? Detective Jack Terry is hunting her runaway (from justice) father and plans to have him incarcerated. What's the attraction here? Peter Ashford, her high school boyfriend/fiance, dumped her like a hot potato when the charges against her father were announced. Hello! On the other hand, Dr. Cooper Craft is a wonderful man who is head over heels in love with her. It seems like no contest to me. Her wishy-washiness is driving me nuts. And don't get me started on her brother, Wesley - what a loser!

Anyway, Carlotta gets involved in the murder investigation of a celebrity and as usual her life is in danger. She's hit by a car, she's almost strangled to death and she's involved in numerous incidents involving guns and body snatchers. Regardless of the personality issues, this is a great mystery and a wonderful adventure for the whole gang.

This is the 3rd in the body movers series. I've enjoyed the first three in the series, but am starting to feel frustrated that Carlotta's life is going no where. You should read them in order for you to get the (weak) relationships going on with the characters. Will Carlotta's grown brother ever act like an adult and get his own life? And will Carlotta ever figure out what she wants in life?

This book was okay....I was expecting it be a lot better than it was. It was in the middle of a series, but I had no trouble following the story even though I have not read any of the earlier books in the series. To me, it seemed like a grown-up version of a very indecisive Nancy Drew. It was okay, and I would possible read more in the series, but only if there wasn't something else I'd rather read!

I read book one and two, and then mailed this book off before reading it due to a swap deadline. I just couldnt get into it to mail it off in time. So I got a copy from the library recently. I am so glad I read book 3. I did really enjoy the whole back ground story, involving the moving of the famous dead "Paris Hilton" wannabee body from Florida back to Georgia. But really when you think about it, if this girl was so rich just put the body on a charter plane. Why drive? but alas there were be no story if Charlotte and Coop didnt have to drive and pick up the body.

This installment of the story was to me refreshing, it had enough twists and turns. I few I did not expect.

I see many other readers are sick of Charlotte having 3 men on the hook, and so much drama, but really if you look at the time line this is only a matter of weeks. Charlotte isnt dragging things out with these mens, dang the woman hasnt had time to breath between all the attempts on her life in each book.

The sex in this can be mildly graphic, so it that offends you then you might want to skip that part or the book altogether. This is by no means erotica, but it does get descriptive a few times. But if you need a little jump start in your libido those chapters might get your blood moving.

I wanted to add that I gave this book 4 stars for what the book was meant to be. It in no way is some masterpiece of literature, but for being a romantic suspense comedy mystery, it was a good 4 star book.

I think this series of mysteries is great. The characters are fun and there are lots of twists and turns. However, you must read the entire series (I'm on book 6) to get the most out of it (and in order) Start with The Body Movers.

I enjoyed the series very much. Read the novels that pre-date the series first for a bit of background information (not required). Fun, quick read. Hooked me and couldn't stop reading the series! Just had to know what happened next. Waiting for book 7, due out in 2012 - but when??

I do not like all the sex details in the books, however it is easy to skip past and you miss nothing by skipping it. So each to their own! Some rather vulgar language as well, not able to skip it all, so if this type of thing offends you, I would not recommend this series.

I recommend this series with reserve because of the sex content & vulgar language. The sex details are not as bad as some, but worse than others. I do not think it would keep me from reading the stories, but it might some. So now you know - use your own judgment!

The series is good so far but Carlotta needs to quit juggling the 3 ring man circus & her brother needs to grow up. Too many 2nd chances. This book #3 wasn't the greatest but I'm going to read the next one to see.

This is a fun story that mixes romance with mystery. It is the 3rd book of a series and I find the characters real. It takes place in the Atlanta area and I lived there for 28 years so it gives me a memorable connection when places become part of the story.
