It is very rare that I pick up a true crime read but when I saw this book & that beautiful young face I wanted to know how she managed to live that long & then escape. Ms.Kampusch has written her story about a senseless & hellish abduction that happened to her when she was 10 years old. She tells her story from beginning to end in one page after another of unstopable reading. Not once did I find myself bored. She writes without self-pity or anger & her strong soul shines through on every page. She was an amazing child. I'd be very interested in knowing what greatness she is doing today. I'm sure she is some how sharing her strength and love for life with all she comes in contact with. I read this in one day. It is an excellent book.
