CONDITIONS: Given a casualty in a battlefield environment and a combat lifesaver aid bag. STANDARDS: Applies the procedures given in this subcourse so that the mission is not endangered and the risk of additional injuries to the casualty is minimized. TASK: Evaluate and treat a casualty. CONDITIONS: Given a combat lifesaver aid bag and a casualty with one or more of the following problems: blocked airway, no respiration, bleeding from an extremity, amputation of an extremity, hypovolemic shock, or open chest wound. STANDARDS: Performs needed procedures in accordance with the procedures given in this subcourse. TASK: Transport a casualty. CONDITIONS: Given a casualty in need of evacuation, SKED(r) litter or materials for improvising a litter, and assistant(s) (if available). STANDARDS: Evacuates the casualty using a SKED(r) litter or an improvised litter in accordance with the procedures.
