please volunteer for only one hosting swap for now. When our returning hosts have all had a chance to pick their first choice, I will open it up to fill the empty slots. 

I can do the Fall teabag/ beverage swap again in September. 

I would like to do the Easter swap. 

I'm thinking of an Earth Day Swap.  Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. 

Examples would be like... reusable shopping bags, wool dryer balls, reusable straws, silicone bowl covers, reusable produce bags, and of course anything made using recycled materials. No stress; if you think it fits - it fits.  (We could come up with all the ideas before the start.)

I can host the Valentines swap.  

Would anyone be interested in a Lunar New Year swap? We will be ushering in the Year of the Dragon in February.

Ok, Robin has sold me on trying a Lunar New Year swap! She already does a couple of these so has experience with what could be included.

I will wait this week to see who else would like to host the open swaps. If I get no takers, I will invite some hosts from last year whom we haven't heard from.  After that I will open it up for hosts to sign up for a second choice.

I'd like to help with July postcard swap.

Lisa has a new idea for an August swap' Share your Creative Side' swap.   You would send small items that you create through your crafting or needlework, etc.

Ok, I am waiting to hear from 2 more of the 2023 hostesses. If I dont hear back from them by Sat morn, I will open the remaining slots up for those who have already volunteered and want to take on another swap in 2024. 
 

I found some cute items for the Lunar New Year swap on Oriental Trading and they got here super quickly. 

I can do the June postcard swap.

Are you making lists of participants or do I need to remember to come back & check for when those swaps start?

Debbie, You need to check in every week for a month or so before the swaps you are interested in to see when the sign-ups are being done. Each swap will have its own thread so here is NOT the place to sign up.  I am only using this thread to sign up hostesses and track the swaps that are coming up this year.

Has anyone thought about organizing some sort of swap for leap year, since 2024 is one? That sounds to me like it would be fun and a little different.

I agree, Robin it would  be, great idea! How about a creative card along with possibly a very small fun surprise. Could be anything! Just a suggestion. I do remember making my dad a Happy Leap Day card back in 2020. I will have to do that again thid year, thanks for the reminder :)
