An excellent account of one of the most tumultuous times in the 20th century, where around the world countries erupted in violent protests against the status quo. From the U.S. to Cuba to the Czech Republic, Kurlansky does an excellent job capturing the mood and ambitions of the people trying to change their world.

I really liked this book. The book gives an indepth study of the year 1968. The focus was on the United States as well as International events. It was about a year that changed the course of history.
