Not my favorite history writer, he is heavy on romanticism, loose with facts. He tries to cover too much. He covers a lot about FDR's health, although much is speculative, even today. He covers what was going on at Auschwitz in detail, and tries to make a case that the allies should have done more, but what exactly would have helped, is unclear (bombing the place?!?)
