This is teh second-to-last book in the series, book 11. I have come to expect the unexpected in this series but this book was horrible. The constant disrespect and whining from Jolene and Bruce just killed the entire vibe of the book. If it wasn't for the other charachters storyline I would have burned this book!!! Hopefully the final book can erase this book from memory.

1105 Yakama Street is the home of Bruce and Rachel Peyton and 13-year-old Jolene, except Rachel has left because she's pregnant and Jolene's jealousy is too stressful. Olivia's and Will's mother left something on a lit burner----the kitchen is a total loss. The Bellamys have separated because of Leonard's treatment of Linc, daughter Lori's new husband. All is well by the end of the book; such wonderful reading getting there!

This is my favorite series & I'm sad to learn the series is ending after the next book, 1225 Christmas Tree Lane. I've really enjoyed following Grace, Olivia & the many other characters over the last 10 years. Even the annoying characters added to the fantastic plots Debbie Macomber concocted. It's just like my favorite soap opera is ending. I can't wait to read the final chapter & I hope Debbie plans another exciting new series to follow this one.

All of the Cedar Cove books were very good. It is easier if you read them in order. But Debbie recaps waht has happened previously.

This is very similar to the other stories in this series from Debbie Macomber. It continues the lives of the same people and gets you looking forward to the next book in the series for Christmas.

Loved this series but so sad to know that 1225 Christmas Tree Lane is the end of it. Enjoyed following this little town and all the people in it.
This is a great feel good series.

As this series winds down (this is he 2nd to last book in series), I am so saddened to see it go. I've come to know and love each character and they've grown.

Sadly, this is the second to last book in a fantastic, wonderful, compelling, spell-binding, enchanting series that makes me want to visit Cedar Cove. Debbie has captivated us throughout this series with her wonderful characters and their everyday lives. I am truly sorry to be so near the end of this series. I have loved it so much. I highly recommend the entire series, and this book is a wonderful addition to it. Follow along as Rachel deals with some heavy issues, as to Olivia and Jack, Charlotte and Ben and Gloria and Chad, just to name a few.

Great book. This series reads as a friendly soap opera with many story lines going on at once. It's like sitting down with friends in the neighborhood and catching up on everyone.

Cedar Cove always sounds like the best place to live and the people could live next door. I can't wait for the next book.

Knowing that this is the next to the last book in the series I devoured this book. Debbie tightened up soon loose ends and I throughly enjoyed it. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down.

Cedar Cove has always been one of my favorite places for a vicarious visit and this latest installment was no exception. The characters we have come to know so well are all in town and dealing with the joys and problems that keep their world turning. There are still story lines from many years ago that have stuck with me and characters I remember fondly. The series has given me many hours of joy and entertainment.
In this latest novel, the main story features the relationship between Rachel and Bruce. Rachel and Bruce are having marital difficulties stirred up by Bruce's daughter from his previous marriage. Jolene and Rachel got along very well and were close until Rachel married Bruce and then things deteriorated. By the beginning of this novel, things are so bad between them that Rachel decides she can no longer stay in the home. The remainder of the book follows them as they try to figure out if there is any way to make this marriage successful and how they are going to cope with Jolene. Ben and Charlotte are also a major story line along with Lync Wise and his wife.
"1105 Yakima Street" is featuring only a few main couples, allowing enough time devoted to each for the reader to really become involved in their lives. In addition, there is just enough back-story given to refresh your mind as you read along, but not enough to bog down the narrative.
Bottom line: I am very happy to say that Debbie Macomber is back to her usual form and has published another highly entertaining read in this latest effort. There is only going to be one more book in the series before it ends - a Christmas book - and I am now eagerly awaiting my turn to read it.

great series love this author
Dear Listener, You've probably heard that my wife has left me. Rachel's pregnant, and she says that she can't handle the stress in our household anymore. My thirteen-year-old daughter, Jolene, is jealous of her. Maybe it's my fault. As a widower I spoiled her -- Jolene was reading over my shoulder just now and says that's not true. She claims Rachel ruined everything. But that's not true. The real question is: How can I get my wife back? I don't even know where she is. She's not with Teri Polgar or any of her other friends from the salon. The other question is... when will Jolene grow up and stop acting like such a brat? Of course, I'm not the only one in town with problems. Linc Wyse's father-in-law is trying to destroy his business. And you know Charlotte Rhodes? Seems she's becoming forgetful, and the family's worried about her and Ben. Lots of other stuff going on -- but Rachel is better at keeping up with it than I am. If you have any idea where my wife is, please give me a call. Please. This is a great read.
