Very good for anyone managing others. There is a companion book, 1001 Ways to Energize Employees, that is excellent, also.

I bought this as an entrepreneur with little $ to spend...and very grateful to have such a great staff. I had often heard that $ was not always the #1 motivator (although I still agree it certainly helps!) - and this book had a lot of great ideas outside of just dollars. It worked for my team for sure!

How hard is it to just be nice to your employees? I have had some of the worst human beings as managers in my life.

Treat them with respect and congratulate them on a job well done.

You don't need a book for that if you do you need to get out of management!
