I suppose it's just me being bitter that more of my favorites weren't listed as life-changing albums. However, though a few truly incredible albums are listed here, and I was indeed prompted to expand my music library, this book relies too much on the popular side of things rather than the bands who got down and dirty and did all of the work shifting public perception of new sounds BEFORE the popular people skated in on the newly smoothed floor. I felt as though some albums were included because of the staggering amount of money they made, rather than the amount of lives they changed.
