A counting book by Eric Carle. A sturdy board book with 13 pages of beautiful illustrations by Eric Carle. The book is about a train going to the zoo, each car of the train has a different animal or groups of animals. Each car represents a different number (1 elephant, 2 hippos, 3 giraffes, 4 lions, 5 bears, etc...). Although this book has no words, it is designed as a great book to practice counting with your child. The bottom of each page has a small illustration of what the train looked like before the "new car" was added (a great way to reinforce counting concepts).
