Contemporary erotic suspense romance from Samhain Publishing. Book Two of the Chase Brothers series. Cassie is on the run, from an abusive ex, and goes to Petal Georgia. She promptly gets into a fender-bender with Momma Chase. She's got a whole lotta trouble now, because the Chase family wants to practically adopt her, and Deputy Shane Chase is gorgeous and suspicious at the same time. All Cassie wants to do is lay low, which is impossible in Petal. I enjoyed this book. Cassie and Shane are both likeable, but flawed. Neither is looking for love again, but can't deny it. The sex scenes are hot, the romance sweet, the plot predictable, but tight. I want to read #3. Good book.
