This is my 2nd book by this author(read The Cowboy Next Door before realizing I was out of order!) It was SO good! I'd give both 5 starts but the books are really too short to fully develop but for books of this length it definitely ranks up there with my favorites!
I like how this author deals with real-life issues - cowboy in AA and getting his life in order finds old flame(mother of his child he knows nothing about)to apologize because AA steps say to make amends and seek forgiveness. Falls in love with mom and daughter. Also deals with heroine's dying father and a loving town with it's share of gossips. I sure wish she'd write some longer books. This book had depth as another person shared. Just so good. And the kid's not a brat either! :-) I usually shy away from books with kids and love inspired in general because of the preachiness in some but the church and faith in this one fit the story in a realistic way. Really enjoyed it!
