This book was surprising good. My first time reading this author, his writing reminded me of Jeremy Robinson, one of my favorite new authors. Beneath the Dark Ice has a touch of everything I like: a super soldier with a exploration team, a new cave discovered in the Antarctic leading to an ancient civilization and finding an ancient evil leading to a journey to the center of the earth style trip. Definitely a keeper in my library!
